PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

UX Bro processes limited personal information for accounts, purchases, licenses, downloads, updates, support, and security. This policy explains that processing.

Effective August 9, 2026

1. Scope and responsibility

This policy applies to the UX Bro website, Chrome extension, UX Bro app, downloads, updates, and support. UX Bro is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Third-party providers can process information under their own privacy policies. These providers include the sign-in provider, payment provider, and AI provider that you select.

2. Information we process

We process the following information when it is necessary to operate and protect UX Bro:

  • Account information. When you sign in, we can receive an account identifier and basic profile information. This information can include your email address, name, and profile image.
  • Purchase and license information. We process purchase status, transaction references, license status, and update access. The payment provider handles full card numbers and other payment details. UX Bro cannot access full card numbers.
  • Security and service information. We can process an IP address, device information, browser information, request time, and security signals. We process this information when you use the website, sign in, check out, download UX Bro, or request an update.
  • Optional product analytics and diagnostics. If you allow analytics, we process feature-use events, success or failure results, response duration, session and engagement signals, app information, browser information, device information, operating-system information, approximate location, and sanitized crash reports. For installed-app usage, we reduce the request IP address to a whole-degree coordinate and do not store the IP address in analytics records. These reports do not include prompts, source code, selected page content, local project paths, files, provider output, or command output.
  • Communications. If you contact us, we process the information you provide so we can respond.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, precise location, contacts, or browsing history from the local projects that you inspect.

3. Information that stays on your device

UX Bro does not upload or store your repositories, source code, local project paths, prompts, selected page content, context files, provider output, command output, or local diagnostic logs in its cloud services.

When you submit a prompt, your computer sends the required context directly to the AI provider that you select. The provider processes the request under your account and its own terms. UX Bro does not receive or store a separate cloud copy.

4. How we use information

We use personal information only to:

  • Authenticate your account and provide purchases, licenses, downloads, updates, and support.
  • Process payments, refunds, disputes, and promotion codes.
  • Protect UX Bro, prevent abuse and fraud, and diagnose failures.
  • Measure product use, performance, and reliability when you allow analytics.
  • Meet tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Applicable law can require a legal basis for processing. We rely on our contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in secure product operation. We rely on consent when the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not use personal information for advertising, data brokerage, profiling, or solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. When information is disclosed

We disclose limited information in the following cases:

  • We disclose information to providers that perform sign-in, payment, hosting, security, product delivery, or support services for us.
  • We disclose request information to the AI provider that you select.
  • We disclose information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when necessary to follow the law, protect rights and safety, or resolve a dispute.
  • We can disclose information as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Applicable confidentiality and notice requirements apply.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done so during the preceding 12 months.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

UX Bro does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. UX Bro can use strictly necessary cookies or local storage for sign-in, fraud prevention, security, checkout, and requested features. Sign-in and checkout providers can use essential technologies under their own policies.

Optional analytics remain disabled until you allow them. We store your choice on your device. You can change the choice in Analytics settings on the website or in the privacy settings of the UX Bro app. If you disable analytics, UX Bro stops future optional collection.

7. Retention

We keep account, purchase, and license records only for the necessary period. We use these records to provide access, maintain transaction history, handle refunds or disputes, meet tax and legal obligations, and prevent fraud. Temporary access and security records expire automatically. We keep communications only for the period necessary to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations.

We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer necessary. Information on your device remains under your control. You can remove it when you delete local files or uninstall UX Bro.

We keep installed-app usage observations for up to 90 days. We keep other optional analytics and crash diagnostics only for product measurement, reliability analysis, and incident response. Provider retention controls and applicable deletion obligations apply.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the limited information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International data transfers

UX Bro and its providers can process personal information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Recognized legal safeguards protect international transfers when the law requires them. Local project content remains on your device unless you submit it to the AI provider that you select.

10. Your privacy rights

Your location can give you rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You can also have a right to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or contact your local privacy authority. We do not discriminate against you when you exercise a privacy right.

We can require identity verification before we complete a request. We can retain some information for legal, security, accounting, dispute, or transaction records.

To exercise a right or submit a privacy complaint, email privacy@uxbro.ai. We respond within the period required by applicable law.

11. Children

UX Bro is not for children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe that a child provided personal information. We review the information and delete it when appropriate.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. We post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when a change is material.

Send questions, requests, and complaints to privacy@uxbro.ai.
